At Deventer Consulting we are looking for an Accounting Expert with Tax knowledge with a very high level of English to joinour tem. We are an international professional firm located in the center of Barcelona, very focused on international business.

Minimum requirements

The following requirements are absolutely essential:

  • A3 software expert (A3eco, A3soc A3con)
  • Very high level of English (the interview will be carried out entirely in English)
  • Accounting experience and tax filing knowledge of at least 5 years
  • Experience managing accounting and taxes of several clients, preferably in a professional office.

Profile

We are looking for a decisive, independent person, with the ability to self-manage a portfolio of international clients, proactive and communicative. The profile must be able to self-organize the assigned work while integrating into the team dynamics, using our shared tools.

The functions to be performed are, among others:

  • Introduction of accounting entries
  • Work and data import through various ERP (Quipu, Holded, Anfix etc.)
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Customer and supplier reconciliations
  • Presentation and settlement of VAT, IRPF, IS taxes
  • Annual accounts
  • Accounting and analytical reporting
  • Customer portfolio management

Offer

Salary 30,000 – 36,000 gross / year

Coronavirus: Catalan Tax Agency suspends deadlines

The Catalan Tax Agency, in view of the current exceptional situation caused by COVID-19, has published the measures adopted in relation to the deadlines for the tax processing procedures and services for citizens.

Suspension of tax periods

Thus, in accordance with the declared alarm status, the following measures are adopted:

  • Suspension and interruption of the terms of the management, inspection and collection procedures.
  • Suspension of prescription periods and expiration.
  • Suspension of face-to-face care. Previous appointments already given are canceled and the offices will remain closed.

These measures will be in force and will be applied in all the offices, delegations and central services of the Tax Agency of Catalonia until further notice. They add up to the previously adopted by the Government of Spain regarding aid to SMEs and the self-employed.

CORONAVIRUS: Fiscal measures to aid freelancers and companies

On friday 13th it was published the Real Decreto-Ley 7/2020. As a result of it, the government approves some measures to aid small and medium companies (PYMEs/SMEs) and freelancers.

This Royal Decree contains basically three fields of action:

  1. Strengthen the sanitary sector
  2. Protect families wellfare
  3. Aid and support the affected comapnies, specially those of the tourism sector and SMEs

Focusing in that third group, chapter IV of the Royal Decree brings up measures of transitory financial support targeting the lowering of treasury tensions of Pymes and freelancers. Read More
